1. The service
Mon Ère is a private journal for iPhone. You write pages, note your mood, add photos and stickers, and set goals. The app reads your pages with an AI to send you motivation notifications on the days that matter, and shows you in My space everything it has kept. The app is published by Yahya BENNOUNA (legal notice).
2. What the app is not
Mon Ère is not a medical, psychological or emergency service, and gives no medical advice. Notifications are encouragement, not professional advice. If you are in danger or need help now, call 112 or a free helpline (in France, 3114): see Help. The app may show these numbers when a page suggests it.
3. Who can use it
The app is for people aged 18 or over. By using it, you confirm you are 18 or over.
4. Your account
At first launch, the app creates a temporary account. You can save your journal with Apple or an email address to find it again on another phone. You are responsible for access to your phone; you can lock the app with Face ID.
5. Trial and subscription
- The app offers a monthly or yearly subscription, with a 7-day free trial. Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store before any purchase.
- Payment is made by Apple, on your Apple account, at the end of the trial. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can cancel at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. The app reminds you 2 days before the trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
- Deleting your account does not stop the subscription: cancel it in the iPhone settings too.
- Apple's terms for apps also apply (Apple's standard licence agreement).
6. Your content
Your pages, photos and goals remain yours. You only allow Mon Ère to keep and process them to run the service (backup, reading by the AI for your notifications), as described in the privacy policy. This permission ends when you delete your account.
7. The AI
What the AI keeps or suggests may be inaccurate. You can correct or delete everything in My space. The AI makes no decision for you.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to get around its limits, use it as a general AI tool, try to reach other people's data or disrupt the service. Generous, invisible usage limits protect the service: when they are reached, the work is postponed to the next day.
9. Availability and changes
The service is provided with care, without a guarantee that it works without interruption. The app may change; if these terms change in an important way, the app will tell you beforehand.
10. Liability
Mon Ère is not responsible for decisions you make based on notifications or on what the AI kept. Nothing in these terms limits your consumer rights under the law.
11. Ending
You can delete your account at any time in the app (how). In case of serious abuse of these terms, the account may be suspended after informing you, except in an emergency.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, first write to monere.application@gmail.com to find an amicable solution. Otherwise, you can go to the competent courts.
